Starry Night in Regions

Here's a small copy of Van Gogh's "Starry Night," but divided into small regions of different media. The upper-left triangle is oil pastel and turned out quite nicely. The middle triangle is some sort of chlky pastel, which got muddy when I tried to put any large amount on. I left it light-colored before the colors all blended together. The bottom-right was a disappointment. It's done in charcoal, but it was a bad idea to use charcoal on canvas board. Since I couldn't easily vary the pressure on the rough canvas, my values were limited. I did manage to get a semblence of the original down there, though, and I sprayed it with fixatif. Unfortunately, most of the charcoal managed to fall of, anayway. The rest of the work is acrylic paint.
